Castle ruins 'Geroldseck'

The castle runis which were built in 1250 by the lords of Geroldseck are located on the hill called 'Schönberg' between the villages of Seelbach and Biberach. The castle can be ascended via winding stairs. When doing so, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley of the Schutter- and the Kinzig river. At the foot of the Geroldseck there is the restaurant 'Loewen', which is evidently Germany's oldest restaurant.
